Dear Parents,

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome your son or daughter to first grade.

Please put your child’s name on his or her supplies. It will make it easier for your child to find his or her supplies as they work throughout the day. Thank you!

Each day there will be a designated time for snack. Please provide your son or daughter with a nutritional snack (crackers, vegetables, fruit, pudding, etc.).

A copy of our “Specials” will be sent home on the first day of school.

Enclosed you will find information about a “Me Box” family project. Please help your child gather items for this box that will help us get acquainted. After completion of this project, please have your child bring it in to share either on the first or second day of school.

We are very enthusiastic about the upcoming school year and hope you will play an active part in your son or daughter’s first grade experiences. We are looking forward to a successful year with your child. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. You may contact us at school at 245-2616 or by email. Please continue to read and practice addition and subtraction math facts with your child to maintain the skills that he or she has learned in Kindergarten!!!! Enjoy your summer!
